Bangkok’s largest shopping center

With five hundred shops, over a hundred restaurants and fifteen cinemas, Central World is Bangkok’s largest shopping mall and one of the largest shopping centers in the world.

It is found in the Siam area of central Bangkok nearby other large shopping centers as MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Tokyu department store.

B Level through Level 7

On the seven floors of the modern and clean shopping center you will find countless high end stores, restaurants, a very large movie theatre, a Thai massage salon and even an ice skating rink.

B-Level

At B-level you will find services as dry cleaning, clothing alteration and Thailand Post.

Level 1

Mostly health and beauty products with brands as Donna Chang and Beauty Cottage, Thann luxury spa products and a Jim Thompson silk store.

If you like the Jim Thompson products, visit Jim Thompson House on Rama I road.

Level 2

More beauty and health at level 2 with among others Etude House, The Body Shop, IYA Aroma and Skin Food and Crabtree & Evelyn.

Level 3

At level 3 you will find beauty and health, music, clothing and food with shops as Cut & Curl, Nail Wonder Land, Apsara’s Beauty slimming and spa, Harnn luxury spa products, ToB1 hair station, Boots, music stores as the Guitar Avenue and Music Concept, Giorgio Bettoni fashion, UNIQLO clothing, von Dutch, the North Face, Asics, Adidas, Nike, several coffee shops, Gelate ice creams, fruit juices, Pancake café and Häagen-Dazs.

Level 4

At level 4 more beauty and health, phones, electronics, banks, gold and jewelry with shops as Mt Sapola, Big Camera Galleria, Samsung, Inter Watch & Jewelry, B2S bookshop, Jaymart phones, pharmacies as Boots and Watsons, musical instrument shops and phone shops.

Level 5

Find beauty and health products, fashion & accessories and furniture on level 5. Shops include SB Furniture, ZEN department store and Slim Up center.

Level 6

At level 6 you will find mostly fashion and accessories, food, entertainment and toys. Among others this floor houses Toys R Us, Swensen’s, Pizza Company, Tha Siam noodle, Spaghetti Factory, ZEN Japanese restaurant, MK Restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, Sizzler, ASIA Books, KiddyLand and a free playground for children.

Level 7

For food and entertainment, head to level 7. Plenty of food choices with an MK Restaurants, Yayoi, Crepe & Co, Sushi Den, Fuji, Din Tai Fung Taiwanese restaurant, Mango Tree bistro and the large Central Food Hall.

SF World Cinema

Also on level 7 is SF World Cinema that has several movie theaters.

Watch the latest 4D movies with added effects as motion and scent in comfortable seats at the 4DX theatre. Prices are 450 - 500 Baht.

SF Cinema First Class features luxury fully adjustable reclining armchairs, with pillows and a blanket. Get drinks and popcorn brought to you while watching the movie. Prices are between 700 and 800 Thai Baht.

Ice skating at The Rink Ice Arena

The Rink Ice Arena at Central World offers a quite unique opportunity to do some ice skating in the tropical Thai climate.

The Rink Ice Arena opens daily from 10.30 am until 10 pm with regular 30 minute breaks to resurface the ice. Rates are 220 Baht for one hour, 260 Baht for 1½ hours. Skates and helmets are available.

The 1 Card

The 1 Card can be obtained at information counters in Central World. Use it to get cash coupons or discounts in participating shops or to get a VAT refund.

Food court and restaurants

Plenty of lunch and dinner choices at Central World that has a wide selection of Thai, Japanese, Korean and European restaurants.

Food at the large food court can only be paid for with a food card. The balance is returned to you on the same day.

Location and how to get there

Central World is located on Rama I road in Siam. The easiest way to get there is by BTS Sky Train. Get off the train at Siam station or Chit Lom station. From either station it is a short walk on an elevated walkway.

Opening hours

Central World opens daily from 10 am until 10 pm. Especially on weekends and Thai National holidays it can get busy.
