Dream World

Dream World is a large amusement park on the outskirts of Bangkok. It has many fun things to enjoy for the whole family like spectacular rides for thrill seekers, rides for smaller children, shows, a snow town and carnival games.

Spectacular rides

Roller coasters
Among the park’s most spectacular rides is the Sky Coaster, a large hanging roller coaster with loops. Experience a wild ride through the dark on Dream World’s second roller coaster, the Black Hole Coaster.

Viking & Hurricane
Climb aboard the Viking, a pirate ship that keeps swinging back and forth to near vertical or get on the Hurricane, doing flips and somersaults in the air twenty meters above the ground.

Flying Carpet & Tornado
The Flying Carpet propels you into the air and back towards the ground. Another fun ride is the Tornado, which brings you up high above the ground and spins in mid air.

After the adrenaline rush of the wild rides, slow down a little with some of the other fun rides and games.

Bounce, spin and swing to music in the Raptor or get on the Whirlwind rat, a mini roller coaster. Other fun rides and games are the Magic Carpet, Giant Octopus, Bumper cars, Go-Kart, the Bumper boat in the large pool and Alien, a game with invading aliens.

Win a toy stuffed animal at the fairground games or watch 4D Adventure, a movie with special effects which makes you feel like being a part of it.

The Tornado at Dream World

For small children

There are plenty of rides and fun things in Dream World for the youngest like lightning bird, flying fish, space express, race cars, sightseeing train, bumper boat and Grandpa’s car, a ride in antique cars.

Another fun thing to go for children is Animal Farm where they can watch the animal show and feed the animals.

Rides on the water

Super Splash
Get on the Super Splash, a boat climbing into the air, then soaring down towards the pool ending in a huge splash. The Super Splash opens Monday to Friday from 11 am until 5 pm. On Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10:30 am until 5 pm.

Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is an adventure boat ride in the middle of the rapids. Raft down the water rapids, through rocks, bends and whirlpools through a Grand Canyon landscape. Plastic raincoats are provided. The ride opens Monday to Friday from 12 noon until 4:40 pm. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11 am until 4:30 pm.

Indian Boat
The Indian Boat is a very relaxed boat ride paddling a boat along the river.

Water Fun

A great place for smaller children where they can splash and play in the water, Water Fun has small slides, sprinklers, water jets and things to climb on. Water Fun opens daily between 11 am and 4:30 pm.

Snow Town

Experience the freezing cold in Snow Town where the temperature is below zero. Take a sleigh ride down a slope, build a snowman and have a snowball fight in a wintry landscape with polar bears, deer and snowmen. Winter coats and boots are provided. Snow Town opens daily from 10 am until 4 pm.

Giant House

Experience what it would be like to be small in a world of giants in the Giant House. Based on the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale, everything in the house is much larger than normal.

Haunted Mansion

Experience the horrors of the Haunted Mansion that is inhabited by ghosts and terrifying creatures. Get a huge scare from creatures as Werewolf, Dracula, Frankenstein and many more.

Shows

Hollywood action stunt show
Watch the Hollywood action stunt show and see how a SWAT team battles it out with criminals in a movie setting with the use of special effects. The show is performed at 1 pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

The Parade
See the parade go by led by Dreamy along with cartoon stars and actors in colorful costumes. The parade is held on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays at 3 pm.

Photo spots

There are plenty of good photo spots around Dream World.

Photopia
Let your imagination go at Photopia where there is a Hobbit House, Knight’s Castle, King Kong, Giant Dragon, the upside-down Sir Arthur Castle and a Candy House.

7 Wonders
Get your photo with the pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal or the Eiffel Tower at 7 Wonders.

The Love Gardens
The Love Gardens is a beautifully decorated park with plants and flowers as well as over a hundred large sculptures shaped like a heart.

Getting around Dream World

Dream World amusement park is quite a large place. Take a ride aboard the Dream World train to get around comfortably. The see the park from above, take the monorail or the cable car.

Restaurants

Food and drinks are available in the amusement park. The food station offers a good variety of food. For a quick lunch, go to Tom Yum Noodles or KFC.

Dream World amusement park is located at 62 Moo 1 Rangsit – Ongkharak Road (km 7) on the outskirts of Bangkok.

How to get there

The quickest and most comfortable way to get to Dream World is by metered taxi. Stop one on the street or use the Grab taxi app. It can be difficult to get a taxi back to Bangkok. Have the driver wait for you or use Grab.

Although it is possible to get to Dream World by public transport, the trip will be long and tedious with stopovers.
