Colosseum Show
Colosseum show is the latest and largest cabaret show in Pattaya. The dazzling, energetic show full of glitz and glamour showcases the cultures from various countries around the world. The one hour show is a mix of traditional and modern acts, from funny to cultural and elegant.
Fun show to watch for adults and children
Wearing extravagant dresses in vibrant colors, the ladyboy or “kathoey” dancers and singers perform 16 acts, a varied program including pop, Bollywood and Broadway. The entertaining show with music, dance, glamour and comedy is fun to watch for both adults and children.
Ladyboy performers
The dancers and singers are ladyboys or “kathoeys”. Wearing gowns in bright colors, some of them look so good, it is hard to believe they were born as males.
Long eyelashes & flashy makeup
The Colosseum cabaret show is an extravaganza of long eyelashes, flashy makeup, hair pieces and ostrich feathers. Wearing sparkly gowns with feathers and spangle, the ladyboy performers create and extravagant show with stunning sets, colorful costumes and flashy makeup.
Set designs
The set designs and props look professional and beautiful. With every act the stage scene changes. You will see among others the Roman amphitheater, an Indian street scene for the Bollywood act and a scene in Vietnam for the “Xuan Ken Re” act.
The theater
The theater building is a reconstruction of the Colosseum, the Roman amphitheater that was built 2,000 years ago in Rome, Italy. The large, modern theater seats over a thousand spectators. Its semicircular seating ensures that each visitor has good views of the large stage. The theater is equipped with a professional light and sound system.
16 Acts
The well choreographed show offers a varied program, a mix of drama and comedy, from ladyboy cabaret to Bollywood and Broadway. Sixteen acts showcase dance, music and culture of countries from around the globe like Italy, Thailand, Korea, India, China and Vietnam. With every act the props and backdrops change.
The opening act
The opening act “The Love around you” is set in ancient Rome, featuring dancers and Roman warriors against a backdrop of the interior of the Colosseum amphitheater.
Asian acts
“Miracle ASEAN” celebrates the beauty of the women of the 10 ASEAN states. The dancers wearing beautiful traditional dress of each country participate in a beauty contest.
“Xuan Ken Re” tells the story of the developing love of a young girl. It features a street scene with rickshaws and beautiful and colorful traditional Vietnamese dresses.
“The Promise” is a Korean act featuring several dozen dancers and traditional music.
“Heart and Soul”, a Chinese act against the backdrop of the Mausoleum of the first Qin emperor, famous from the Terracotta warrior army.
“Mambo Italiano” act
Contemporary
“Love on Top”, a contemporary act featuring the Beyoncé song Love on Top.
Bollywood
“Blestyaschie” is an Indian act against the backdrop of an Indian city street scene. A love story developing after a collision of two rickshaws on the street. It presents Bollywood style dancing and singing.
Other acts
“Time to say Good Bye” tells the story about a Goddess on Earth. An angel comes down and helps the Goddess to return to Heaven.
“Sawasdee” is an elegant act with several dozen dancers. The main dancer emerges from a giant lotus flower.
“Mambo Italiano”, a funny act with participation from the audience. The dancer ventures between the first rows of the theater and engages several people in the audience.
Other acts are “Love of Munni”, “Kiss me Another”, “Take me to Heaven” and “She’s a Lady”.
The closing act
The closing act “You will be in my mind”, the grand finale featuring a jazzy dance.
Your photo with the ladyboy dancers
After the show the performers line up outside the Colosseum theater. Make your photo with them against the backdrop of the Colosseum fountains.
Tips of 50 to 100 Baht are expected per dancer in the photo.
Location
The Colosseum theater is located in Jomtien on Thep Prasit road between Soi 13 and Soi 15.
How to get there
It can easily be reached by tuk tuk, taxi or songthaew.
Songthaew
To get there by songthaew head to the corner of South Pattaya road and Pattaya 2nd road. Get on a songthaew towards Jomtien. Get off at the intersection with Thep Prasit road. From there take a songthaew on Thep Prasit road towards Sukhumvit road. After about one kilometer you will see the theater just past Soi 15.
Across the street is a night market with food and drinks.

There are three shows daily.
Times are 18:00, 19:30 and 21:00.
