Jomtien

Pattaya’s more relaxed neighbor

Jomtien is Pattaya’s more relaxed neighbor. Although there is plenty to do in Jomtien, the most intense nightlife action is at Pattaya.

Beaches

The Jomtien area has several beaches, Jomtien Beach being the longest, and a few smaller ones.

Jomtien Beach

Just South of Pattaya is Jomtien’s six-kilometer-long sandy beach. It is quieter and has a more laid-back atmosphere than Pattaya Beach. Vendors walk up and down the beach offering snacks, coconuts, drinks, ice cream and local fruits.

Along the promenade are sea view restaurants that serve Thai and Western food as well as seafood.

Other Jomtien area beaches

There are several small beaches between Pattaya and Jomtien, that are quieter and more laid back than their bigger neighbors.

Paradise Beach
About two kilometers South of Pattaya Viewpoint is Paradise Beach. Cozy and quiet, it’s about three hundred meters long. Get there through Soi Phra Tam Nak 4, behind the Asia Pattaya Golf Course.
