Carnival Magic

Carnival Magic is Thailand’s first nighttime carnival theme park. With attractions as rides, carnival games, shows and a spectacular parade, the colorful brightly lit park has fun things to do and see for everyone.

You can get tickets for the show only or include a buffet dinner.

River Carnival Parade Show

One of the highlights of Carnival Magic is the River Carnival Parade show. Over 150 dancers wearing extravagant and impressive costumes perform a spectacular show with dazzling special effects. Watch huge procession barges, flying creatures, animatronic floats and aerial ballet against a virtual reality background on one one of the largest stages in the world.

The parade show is performed at the River Palace Paradium. It starts and 8:30 pm and lasts about fifty minutes. Photography during the show is not allowed.

River Palace Paradium

The River Carnival Parade show is performed in the River Palace, a 2,200 seats air conditioned parade stadium guarded by two huge elephant statues.

Watch the regal barge procession in the parade stadium that is equipped with a full surround-sound audio system, one of the largest LED screens in the world and the latest lighting and special effects technology.

Kingdom of Lights

After the River Carnival Parade show, visit a magical world of lights. Adorned with over 40 million lights, the Kingdom of lights is a riot of bright lights and colors.

Festival of colors street parade

Enjoy the carnival atmosphere of the Festival of colors street parade, a parade of street dancers and performers wearing very colorful outfits. Watch the parade at the Carnival Fun Fair.

Fountain show at Happiness Falls

Also at the Carnival Fun Fair is the Fountain show at Happiness Falls, an interactive dancing water show.

Magic Starlight Sparktacular – Carnival in the sky

Magic Starlight Sparktacular – Carnival in the sky is a riot of colors, lights, sound and projection illuminating the magical Castle of Starlight after dark. This attraction is seasonal.

Your photo in traditional clothing

A great souvenir of Carnival Magic is a photo of yourself wearing a colorful costume of gone by days. Choose a costume and get your photo in a traditional setting dressed in clothes of a different era. Have your photo taken at the Carnival Fun Fair.

Fun activities for children

There is plenty to do for children to amuse themselves at Carnival Magic. Among them are fun rides, Animal Funhouse, petting zoo, Jumboree games pavilion, trampoline, funimal train, small slides, Ferrel Wheel and doll house.

Kiddie Fun

Carnival Playland is a play area for small children with small slides, rides with a circus animal theme, elephant merry go around, a ball pit and other fun things. Youngsters can pet animals as rabbits, hamsters and other small animals at the Animal Funhouse. The Jumboree Games Pavilion has arcade games.

Kids can pick up a free gift at the Carnivalistic Kids Club.

Shopping

If you’re looking for a souvenir, head over to the shopping area. At the Carnival Funfair you will find shops and market stalls, while the Jewelrousal Shop is the place to go for gems and hand made jewelry. Watch craftsmen make handicrafts at the Market Fair Handicraft Bazaar.

Restaurants & eateries

Several restaurants and eateries in Carnival Magic offer a good variety of Thai, Asian and Western food.

Bird of Paradise Buffet Restaurant

The Bird of Paradise Buffet Restaurant, an air-conditioned dining hall adorned with huge colorful peacocks, serves Thai, Indian, Asian and Western food as well as lots of desserts. Vegetarian and Halal food is available. Buffet dinner is from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

River of Bliss Luxury Restaurant

A luxury restaurant in a Loy Krathong theme. The restaurant is decorated with large krathongs, floating baskets with flowers and candles.

Fire Eater à la Carte Restaurant

Specialized in Lanna cuisine, the food of North Thailand, the Fire Eater à la Carte Restaurant serves both Thai and international dishes.

Burger Theater Fast Food Eatery

If you like fast food like burgers, go to the Burger Theater Fast Food Eatery in the atmosphere of an old-style cinema.

Ticket prices

Ticket prices at Carnival Magic are:

* Admission includes River Carnival Parade and Kingdom of Lights Illumination Park.
** There is an extra charge for several activities like rides, the playground and souvenir photos.

Child rate: Height 101 – 140 centimeters
Infants not over 100 centimeters tall that sit on a parent’s lap at the River Carnival Parade show enter free

Carnival Magic is located right next to Phuket FantaSea in Kamala on the West coast of Phuket.

How to get there

Carnival Magic provides round trip transportation service to any hotel in Phuket.

Getting there on your own is easy. If you’re staying in Kamala Beach, take a tuk tuk. From any of the other beach resorts, get a Grab taxi.

Opening hours

Carnival Magic opens every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 5:30 pm until 11:30 pm.
