Ceremony styles

Western style wedding
In a Western style wedding the couple exchange vows in a tropical beach setting. The bride and groom walk ceremoniously down the aisle decorated with flower petals towards the altar. The wedding guests sit on flowered chairs on each side of the aisle. A secular officiate standing at a floral archway performs the vow and ring exchange ceremony.

A traditional Thai wedding has a number of ceremonies.
Khan Maak procession
In the traditional Khan Maak procession the groom and his family carry the dowry, usually offerings of gold and gifts on a special tray to the bride and her family. The procession is accompanied by musicians playing traditional instruments.
Rod nam sang ceremony
During the Rod Nam Sang water blessing ceremony the wedding guests bless the couple by pouring scented water over the hands of the bride and groom.
Sai Monkhon ceremony
During the Sai Monkhon ceremony the bride and groom dressed in traditional clothing kneel down in front of an elder. A sacred string is looped around both their heads. The string symbolizes binding two people for life.
Monk blessing ceremony
Buddhist monks who chant and say prayers attend the ceremonies. During the Buddhist monk blessing ceremony, the bride and groom receive blessing from a monk.
Customizable options
Weddings are highly customizable. Most resorts offer several packages, to which extra services can be added.
Among the options you can choose from are live entertainment, floral decorations, wedding cake, flower petal basket and bridal bouquet and corsage for the groom. You can use the services of a bridal stylist or a professional photographer. Have a private wedding or invite guests.
Have the wedding décor of your choice. Exchange rings on a private stretch of beach, in a private luxurious beach villa, in a marquee or on a private yacht.
